For my Junior internship, I got to shadow my first grade teacher, Amy Arsenault. During the day, I got to teach a lesson to a classroom of five and six year olds. I also got to tour around the computer lab and help the kids with their math questions on Gigi math. Going to art and music was another activity I got to do with the kids daily. Not only did I get to teach the kids, but I also got to make connections with them, and learn all of their names. It was so special to not only go back to my first grade class, but to also teach in my old classroom.
